This guide walks you through installing SquareSync for Woo on your WordPress site and activating your license.

Prerequisites

Before installing, ensure you have:

• WordPress 5.8 or higher
• WooCommerce 6.0 or higher
• PHP 7.4 or higher
• An active Square account
• A valid SquareSync for Woo license

Step 1: Download the Plugin

1. Log in to your SquareSync for Woo account
2. Navigate to the Downloads section
3. Download the plugin .zip file

Step 2: Install the Plugin

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
2. Navigate to Plugins > Add New
3. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top
4. Click Choose File and select the downloaded .zip file
5. Click Install Now
6. Once installed, click Activate Plugin

Step 3: Activate Your License

1. After activation, go to SWS Pro in your WordPress admin menu
2. Enter your License Key (found in your account dashboard)
3. Enter the Email Address associated with your purchase
4. Click Activate License

You'll see a confirmation message when your license is successfully activated.

Troubleshooting

Plugin won't install

• If you previously were using the free plugin, deactive this first. (You won't lose any data)
• Ensure your WordPress version meets the minimum requirements
• Check that you have sufficient disk space
• Try deactivating other plugins temporarily

License won't activate

• Check that your license hasn't expired
• Contact support if issues persist
