Adding a gift card product to your WooCommerce store allows customers to purchase digital gift cards for friends and family. Follow these steps to set up a gift card product correctly.

Step 1: Access the Products Section #

1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Navigate to Products from the left-hand menu.
3. Click on All Products to view your existing products.

Step 2: Add a New Product #

1. Click on the “Add New Product” button at the top of the page.
2. Enter a Product Title, such as Gift Card.

Step 3: Select Gift Card Product Type #

1. Scroll down to the Product Data section.
2. From the dropdown menu, select Square Gift Card (or the relevant option for your WooCommerce setup).

Step 4: Configure Gift Card Pricing #

Depending on your store’s needs, choose one of the following pricing options:

• Fixed Price: Set a specific price for the gift card (e.g., $25, $50, $100).

Step 5: Add a Product Description & Images #

1. In the Product Description field, add a clear and compelling description of the gift card.
2. Upload a featured image for the gift card product.
3. (Optional) Add a gallery of images for better presentation.

Step 6: Publish the Product #

1. Double-check all the details, including pricing, product type, and description.
2. Click the Publish button to make the gift card available in your store.

Step 7: Verify the Gift Card Product #

1. Click View Product to see how it appears on the front end.
2. Test adding it to the cart and completing a purchase to ensure it works correctly.
